The morning weather looked promising so gliders were gridded and tasks set with big circles around the turn points to allow challenges for all pilots. However, the forecast overdevelopment came in at around noon and cut off the heating. A PW5 was launched as a snifter but was quickly back on the ground. Once the day was officially cancelled, the temperature rose as the cloud thinned which did allow some local soaring.
